Abstract

abstract – Germs of primary teeth from the maxilla of two human fetuses were studied by electron microscopy. Cells of the stellate reticulum and stratum intermedium were found to be connected by desmosomes and by gap junctions. Some possible implications of the role of gap junctions are considered.
