Abstract

This paper analyzes Julian Marias' anthropology and its clear 'personalistic' approach. In order to show this, reference will be made to two of Marias' main works, Antropologia Filosofica and Persona. The paper will also address critically the absence in Marias' thought of the question of evil. This absence seems to have repercussions on Marias' concept of the will, and the subsequent concept of freedom that results from it.
