Abstract
The paper pays attention to the discussion on the idea of playing considering it as one o f the ritual mechanisms pointing to dissolution o f the signifying structures. The suspénsion of signicity inaugurates and permeates the liminal phase of the rite opening a horizon that permits the ritual actors potentially merging themselves into a state of feeling. On the basis of semiotics of Charles C. Peirce, the author stresses the point that this very state of feeling is the logical condition of semiosis, recognizing at the same time the phenomenological primacy of experience.
