Abstract

Formulation of the problem. Distant trade via network occupies a significant place in the modern trade turnover. Special attention is attached to the protection of the rights of consumers in the process of purchasing goods (works, services) remotely. The purpose of this study is to apply a comprehensive, comparative analysis, highlight the opportunities for the distant sale of goods (works, services), to identify the shortcomings of the legal regulation of the sale method. The article was prepared using general scientific methods (systemic, logical) and special legal methods (comparative legal, formal legal). It was revealed that currently there is legal uncertainty regarding the provision of services remotely. The rules of Russian legislation are aimed at regulating the remote sale and purchase of goods, while services turned out to be outside the scope of this regulation. It would be kindly requested to take advantage of foreign experience in regulating these relations.
