Abstract

This abstract critically assesses judicial performance in subordinate judiciary in Pakistan, scrutinizing its efficacy and challenges. It examines key factors influencing judicial effectiveness, including institutional capacity, transparency, and legal infrastructure. Through empirical analysis, it evaluates the impact of judicial decisions on legal certainty, access to justice, and societal harmony. Furthermore, it addresses prevalent issues such as case backlog, corruption, and judicial independence, shaping the narrative of Pakistan's legal landscape. The abstract concludes by highlighting avenues for reform and enhancement, emphasizing the crucial role of a competent judiciary in upholding the rule of law and fostering socio-political stability in Pakistan.
