JS3-4 Consider the integration of palliative care and oncology

Abstract

In the last decade, the integration of palliative care and oncology has become increasingly important. Many clinicians have repeatedly tested this integration. How is this integration implemented in practice and what does it contribute? In this presentation, I will present the evidence that has been available to date. I will then discuss the wisdom, ingenuity and problems of integration in clinical practice from the perspective of a former surgeon and current palliative care physician.
