Abstract

J-PARC neutrino facility was recently approved and the construction is started. Superconducting combined function magnets are introduced in the primary proton beam line for the first time. Off-axis scheme is applied to generate high intensity narrow band neutrino beam. The expected number of νμ charged current interactions in Super-Kamiokande in 1 year is ∼ 3000, which is about 2 orders of magnitude higher than K2K experiment. In this report, J-PARC neutrino beam line is introduced.
