Abstract
The text intends to provide working routes to investigate the relationship between young evangelicals, particularly Presbyterians, and politics. Presbyterianism is a minority denomination of the "evangelical world, whose presence is found prominently in the southeastern region of Mexico. Like the rest of the evangelical churches, this religious group develops a pastoral of socialization towards young people, with which it seeks to influence a way of understanding the social world. In order to determine whether religious socialization is a determinant for political orientation, it is necessary to establish a work route that can examine the ways in which the different spaces of youth interaction are adjacent to the religious in the prefiguration of their choice and position with the political, which are explored in the text.
