Abstract

Deb: November 20, 1995.9:00 Monday morning. I’m driving to the CBC Radio studios in Edmonton to shadow Kathleen while she produces a radio version of Blake Brooker’s The Land, The Animals. We have met several times to discuss the drafts Blake sent. After moving beyond the paralysing fear that dramaturgy of the post-modern is a contradiction in terms, we venture forth: how are we going to edit this sixty-minute, post-modern play to forty-five minutes, and maintain the integrity of the piece in an aural medium?
