Abstract

The following article analyzes the work of the poet, journalist and playwright modernist, Jose Marti, and prepares a summary of its main features, the highlight being the revolutionary content of his works, in conjunction with the creation of the same verbal. We discovered that both his prose and his verse, Marti dominates a variety of aesthetic resources, poetic and rhetorical, with an abundance of epithets. The author assumes to be the voice of his people, and speaking as a Cuban, hence its literature is a committed literature and was branded a revolutionary creator.
