Abstract

The relation between Jones knot polynominals and statistical mechanics is discussed in the light of Cantorian geometry. It is further shown that von Neumanns continuous geometry may be regarded as being a quantum spacetime akin to Cantorian space E (∞) and noncommutative geometry.
