Abstract

The joint configuration of the Lower Lias outcrop at Robin Hood's Bay, Yorkshire, England, has been re-surveyed. A composite upper hemisphere equal area projection demonstrates that the joint system is similar to that found in older strata in Northern England and hence may be inherited.
