Abstract

The concept of joint state and parameter estimation for integrated quantity and quality models of water supply systems under bounded uncertainty is presented in this paper. The quantity and quality estimation problems are treated in a decoupled way and a recursive scheme to tackle dynamic estimation problem is proposed. The problem is formulated as mixed integer linear programming problem. A practical water supply system is extensively studied using the algorithm presented in this paper.
