Abstract

Ultra-dense networks (UDNs) technology has become a promising way for hot-spot deployments, which can significantly increase the coverage and capacity of next-generation wireless networks. However, due to the large number of deployed base stations (BSs) and the self-interference caused by full-duplex (FD) equipment, serious interference exists in the FD UDN, which may significantly reduce the performance of the entire system. In this paper, a joint, energy-efficient power control scheme of access and backhaul is proposed in FD ultra-dense heterogeneous networks. The goal is to maximize the energy efficiency (EE) of the entire network. In order to effectively mitigate the interference and improve the EE, this paper proposes a clustering algorithm that minimizes the interference of intra-cluster BS to cluster head. Then we can maximize the EE of the entire network based on the intra-cluster resource allocation scheme. The simulation results show that this scheme can effectively alleviate the interference and increase the EE of UDNs.
