Abstract

This paper presentes a new scheme for joint direction-of-departure (DOD) and direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar using a wideband orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. The scheme utilizes a two-way multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm at each of the sub-carriers to estimate the DOD and DOA, and combines the estimated results through majority decisions. The proposed scheme showed good angle estimation performance when employing large number of sub-carriers.
