Abstract
In this paper is studied the performance of a spread-spectrum system based on random permutations, in the case of a transmission over frequency-selective time-varying channels. The detection is achieved using a linear minimum mean-square error approach. The obtained detector is compared to the detector derived in the same context for the DS-CDMA system. This comparison shows that this new system performs in general better when the channels are time-varying
