Abstract

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar has a wide range of application prospects, because of its advantages in targets detection, parameter identifiability and clutter suppression. Waveform design has also been a pivotal technology for MIMO radar. In this paper, we design the waveforms under accuracy and similarity constraints. We design the waveform via maximizing the output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) under the constraints including the estimation accuracy. The design problem is tackled by transforming it to a convex problem. At last, the performance is analyzed by numerical examples. The results indicate its effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.
