Abstract

Aimed at optimizing the guided search for phased array radar, the cumulative detection probability along with the cost functions is mainly considered in this paper. The guide search parameters optimization model based on the cumulative detection probability is built firstly, and the theoretical optimal search data rate is obtained. Then the cost function is introduced to modify the optimal search data rate. Simulation results indicate that the optimal search data rate modified by the cost function achieves an obvious cost function improvement with a little cumulative detection probability sacrifice. The optimized search performance is much better than the traditional sequential scanning, which proves the effectiveness of the proposed method in this paper.
