Abstract
An effective action is derived by the bosonization method to describe non-perturbative processes in the QCD low-energy region. This region is defined by the quark spectral asymmetry or, equivalently, in terms of quark and gluon condensates. For a combination of chiral and dilaton fields the effective action resembles the linear sigma model with additional couplings. The dilaton mass is determined mainly by the gluon condensate.
