Job Opportunities for Pharmacy Vocational High School Graduates: Chemical Drug Inventors, Pharmacies, to Pharmacy Entrepreneurs

Abstract

Abstract: Pharmacy is a study program that is in great demand by the public. Many students are still confused about choosing a career after graduating from school. The students do not understand their talents, so they do not know the appropriate field of work. The purpose of this activity was to provide an overview of careers in the pharmaceutical world and to get to know one way to test talent potential. This activity was presented in the guest lecture method "Job Opportunities for Pharmacy Vocational High School Graduates: Inventors of Chemical Drugs, Pharmacies, and Pharmacy Entrepreneurs," which was presented by professionals in their fields. This activity lasted for one day at SMK Muhammadiyah Magelang. Students were given a talent mapping test, and the results of the test would be discussed so they can understand and hone their talents. The purpose of this activity was to maximize the role of pharmacy vocational high school graduates in society. To see the participants' understanding of this activity, pre-and post-tests were carried out during the activity.
