Abstract

In this analysis we measure the azimuthal angle (φ) dependence of hadrons with respect to the reaction plane (ΨRP) in events that were triggered by a high-pT π0 of 5-10 GeV. Fitting the distribution of hadrons with a function of the type ξ(1 + 2v2 cos (2(φ − ΨRP))), we observe that there is no significant statistical difference between v2 inclusive hadrons and those hadrons from hard scattering events. We also compare the near-side jet widths using PYTHIA simulations with h±−h± correlations in Au + Au at [Formula: see text].
