Abstract

Charm photoproduction in D* photoproduction have been studied using 78.6 pb−1 of data collected by the ZEUS detector. The measurement of inclusive jet cross section with a D* in the final state was performed in the kinematic region, Q2 3 GeV, |ηD*| 6 GeV and −1.5 6 GeV and the leading jet with ETjet > 7 GeV was used to measure dijet correlations. Dijet correlations are compared to the NLO QCD predictions and leading‐order (LO) Monte Carlo (MC) models with parton showers (PS). Dijet correlations are described well by the LO+PS models, while the NLO QCD prediction underestimates the measurement in the region where higher‐order effects are expected to become significant.
