Abstract
The author presents a refreshing view of Jesus' ministry to persons with disabilities. Traditionally referred to as miracle stories, they are more appropriately and accurately seen as stories of healing. The role of persons with disabilities in the kingdom is explored with a view toward the inclusion of all persons into the life and ministries of places of worship. The article proposes that people with disabilities hold a central position in the drama of the in-breaking of God's presence in the life of Christ as his ministry unfolds.
