Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman dan jenis burung yang ada di Desa Buluh Cina Kecamatan Siak Hulu Kabupaten Kampar. Metode yang peneliti gunakan dalam pengamatan ini adalah metode Point Court dan pengamatan saat berjalan. Point Court adalah penelitian pengamatan burung dimana peneliti berdiri pada satu titik dan mengamati sekitarnya tanpa berpindah tempat. Dan luas daerah yang kami teliti kurang lebih 100 Hektar. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti menemukan ada 11 jenis burung yaitu Murai Daun (Chloropsis sonnerati), Bubut (Centropus sinensis), Merbah (Pycnonotidae), Pelatuk (Common flameback), Perenjak (Prinia familiaris), Rangkong (Bucerotidae), Walet (Chollocalia vestita), Gagak (Corvus), Belibis (Dendrocygna), Balam (S. chinensis), Manyar (Ploceus manyar).
