Abstract
Since PEG was first described by Gauderer et al.1 in 1980, it has become one of the most important endoscopic interventions in pediatrics. Over the years, advances in technique and patient selection have resulted in favorable outcomes with minimal complications.2 This is a report of an unexpected complication of PEG placement in a child.
