Abstract
The Jeans instabilities in viscoelastic astrofluids are investigated in the context of Eddington-Inspired-Born–Infeld(EiBI) gravity based on hydrodynamics theory. The results show that the positive EiBI gravity parameter and effective generalized fluid viscosity act as stabilizing agents. Conversely, the negative EiBI parameter and viscoelastic relaxation time act as destabilizing factors. The results of present work may help probing the effects of EiBI theory in viscoelastic dense media.
