Abstract
自動麻酔記録装置の用語は，現在ではAIMS（麻酔情報システム）に収束している．AIMSについて，各種文献，著者らの経験，メーカーアンケートをもとに述べた．大学病院での普及率は急拡大し70%程度（米国10%程度）が見込まれる．用途としては麻酔，看護，人工心肺，請求，手術管理などで，手術部門システムとしても機能する例が多く，（OR＋A）IMS＝ORAIMSが実情である．新機能としては術中薬物動態シミュレーション機能が注目されている．浜松医科大学が舞台となったJSA麻酔台帳ベースの高機能拡張版JSA/AE開発では，AIMSの発展史上，よい試金石となる，先端型のORAIMSが実現した．
