Abstract
Investigations of the crisis in studies of modern Chinese history have shared a certain common ground with dinlomatic history or the history of international relations when taken UT) as subjects or research. However, the crisis in Chinese history has frequently been considered as a noint of denarture, in so far as we refer to it as the pressure (or the cause). And this in turn has led to a deeneninp, of research on domestic Chinese history itself. To the extent that this crisis is concerned with derivinq the causes of the develonment of Chinese history, it differs from dinlomatic history or the history of foreign relations. Thus, when we investigate the crisis in Chinese history, narticularly in modern history, we are considerinR the historical siynificance of the internal development of the subject under consideration. At the same time, there is also a need for a clear methodolozical nersnective to realizethis end.
