Abstract

This book assesses the transformation of Japan's foreign aid policies within the context of the nation's changing economic and political relations throughout Asia and beyond. Challenging much of the conventional wisdom about the country's foreign assistance, the contributors shed important new light on the evolutions and goals of aid-related policies.
