Abstract
Jane, whom I knew during the years I worked at the German Cultural Center (Goethe Institut) in Istanbul, brought together the librarians of the foreign cultural centers in Istanbul and established unforgettable friendships in addition to her intense professional activities. I remember her in that sense.
