Abstract

Gun violence exposure (GVE) is associated with a risk for suicide among Black adults, according to a new study published Feb. 5 in JAMANetwork Open. Researchers said their primary aim was to extend existing research by examining the association between GVE and suicidal thoughts and behaviors within a nationally representative sample of Black adults.
