Abstract
This monthThe Journalis expanding into a new dimension—a monthly Spanish-language edition. It is published in Barcelona by Editorial Eco, a distinguished publishing house with long experience in medical literature. Each Spanish-language issue will consist of articles chosen from the weekly editions of<i>JAMA</i>and local medical news. The selection is made by the medical editorial staff of Editorial Eco working in conjunction with our Spanish<i>JAMA</i>editorial board. These physicians have been selected on the basis of their reputations as clinicians and investigators of international renown. Many of them were suggested by members of the English-language<i>JAMA</i>editorial board.
