Abstract

This report describes the results of an architectural survey of historic buildings in Jaljuliya. The history of the village is briefly discussed after which the buildings are described individually. Four buildings were surveyed, these were: the mosque of Abu al-cAwn,a caravansaral, a cross-vaulted building and a well with cistern. A conclusion discusses the role of individuals in the development of the village in the late medieval period.
