If you build it, he will come.—Field of Dreams (1989)Since its inception, the Journal of the American College of Radiology (JACR®), has published hundreds of articles focusing on topics related to radiation dose and risk, radiation dose in CT, optimization of dose, and other radiation-related topics. The demand for resources in these areas has expanded in recent years in part because of greater awareness among health care professionals and the public about dose and risk. The need for credible resources to accurately inform patients and their providers is growing.
