Jacquet erosive diaper dermatitis (JED), also called dermatitis syphiloides posterosiva, is typically described as a severe irritant dermatitis affecting the genital and/or the perianal region. JED usually affects infants aged >6 months but can also arise in adults with urinary and/or fecal incontinence [1, 2].
