Abstract

Jacobsen syndrome is a rare 11q terminal deletion disorder associated with multiple dysmorphic features, short stature, psychomotor retardation, congenital heart disease, thrombocytopenia (Paris- Trosseau syndrome), genitourinary anomalies, ophthalmologic disorder and occasional digital anomalies . While recurrent upper respiratory infections in these patients are common, life-threatening or opportunistic infections are few reported.
