Abstract
John A. Jacobs was awarded the John Adam Fleming Medal at the AGU Spring Meeting Honors Ceremony, which was held in Baltimore, May 25, 1994. The Fleming Medal recognizes original research and technical leadership in geomagnetism, atmospheric electricity, aeronomy, and related sciences. The citation and Jacobs response are given here.
