Abstract

An application of robust design process for suppressing rotor vibration of rocket turbopump rotor system is presented in this paper. It considers the effects of connecting stiffness, bearing support stiffness and rotor dynamic fluid forces. There are high predictable factors like stiffness. On the other hand, there are rough predictable factors like fluid forces. Then we apply TAGUCHI Method to this case, and we design more robust even if exist rough predictable factors.
