Introduction

In Ukraine both musicologists and performers (in particular the choirs conducted by well-known choirmasters) do much for the further development of the home Bach studies. The direction of the ‘choral bahhiana’ was actively developed by the leading choirmasters of that time professor. It is known that future students of the choral conducting departments first learn the choral heritage of J. F. Handel, as a rule, at the piano lessons at children musical schools and secondary schools.
