Abstract

We apply the recombination model to study J/ψ production and its elliptic flow in the momentum region of 10<pT<20 GeV/c at LHC energy. We show the distribution of J/ψ as a function of the transverse momentum pT and the azimuthal angle ϕ. If the contribution due to the recombination of shower partons from two neighboring jets cannot be ignored at the LHC, the elliptic flow parameter v2 of J/ψ is predicted to decrease with pT.
