Abstract
Ixodes signatus was collected from 2 nestling Pigeon Guillemots ( Cepphus columba ) on Prince Island, Channel Islands, California, representing a southern range extension of 315 km. Additional new records for California and Oregon are also presented and aspects of this tick's biology are discussed.
