Abstract
In this survey article, we introduce the backgrounds for BSD (Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer) conjecture—one of the seven millennium problems, and Iwasawa theory,which is a main tool of the study of BSD conjecture. Then we discuss the methods and results to study them, focusing on recent progress.
