Abstract

In case of advanced gynecologic malignancy, radical surgery is necessary and reproductive organs such as uterus and ovaries could not be spared. Here we report novel approach for fertility preservation (FP) by means of ex-vivo retrieval of immature oocytes from macroscopically normal ovarian tissue harvested during radical surgery in endometrial or ovarian cancer patients with advanced stage.
