Abstract

An examination of the fine series of the remains of Anthracotheriidæ from the Hempstead beds of the Isle of Wight contained in the British Museum, and their comparison with specimens and casts of the remains of the allied Continental forms, has led to the following conclusions. Some of the specimens will be figured on a future occasion.
