Abstract

Multiple radiography provides a simple approach whereby duplicate or triplicate radiographs can be obtained without any of the difficulties of the photographic copying process or further exposure and dosage to the patient. The method involves the use of a modified cassette incorporating two or three pairs of screens, of different speeds, so that by placing a film within each pair of screens in the order 1–2–3, each succeeding screen complements in speed to give uniformity in exposure to each film; thus duplicate or triplicate radiographs are obtained with the conventional single exposure (Figs. 1a and 1b).
