Abstract

The article contains an analysis of the problem of the invalidity of Poland's renunciation of war reparations against the background of the provisions of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties. Analysing the reasons for invalidity, the authors point to their existence in the context of the declaration of renouncing reparations in 1953, also referring to the circumstances surrounding those historical events. The article also contains a reference to the issue of international morality.
