Abstract

– Sign language is the language which hearing-impaired people use to communicate with. Sign languages are not used sufficiently in the digital world. This situation negatively affects hearing-impaired people to use the web pages in an effective manner. In this study, a dynamic web page has been developed in order to improve web pages which are actually in use by hearing-impaired people. Our dynamic web page enables hearing-impaired people to access videos produced in sign language. They can also share videos produced in sign language using this dynamic web page. One of the objectives of this study is the development of a web page which enables people, hearing-impaired or not, to upload or download videos produced in sign language. We also aim to assess the usability of such a dynamic web page with an application software which enables the users to share videos in sign language.
