Abstract

An iterative interference cancellation receiver for asynchronous turbo-coded CDMA is proposed. At each stage, iteration is performed using turbo decoders and the derived soft information used to reconstruct multiple-access interference (MAI). The complexity of the receiver is linear with respect to the number of users and can be further simplified via reduced-state implementation of turbo decoders.
