Abstract
An analysis of literary criticism on Italian Renaissance poetry is presented, focusing on works carried out from the 1980s to 2004. Topics discussed include the work of Italian literary critic Carlo Dionisotti on Italian poet Petrarch, research on women's poetry, and the contribution of scholars such as Simone Albonico, Cesare Bozzetti, and Antonia Tissoni Benvenuti.
