Abstract

Abstract A post‒liver transplant patient presented to his primary care provider with ambiguous symptoms of fatigue, low-grade fever, pruritus, mild right upper quadrant abdominal pain, and subtle jaundice. Given the complexity in care and potential for a myriad of complications, prompt assessment, diagnosis, and evaluation are important for liver transplant patients, with a focus on early referral to the transplant center for highly complex cases. The case described in this study outlines such complications and highlights the importance of care coordination in this special population.
